AFTER THE INITATION: THE GUIDE FOR A KRIYA YOGI

After receiving a blessing from Paramahansa Yogivah Giri, a devotee is adviced to follow these principles to create conditions for the desired spiritual outcome - Self and God-Realization: meditation, satsang and service.
Meditate daily
During the initiation a spirual seeker is presented with four kriya yoga techniques. These should be practices every day twice a day as the number one priority in life.
The first meditation should take place in the morning after getting up. It is best to dedicate one hour of practice in the morning assigning 15 minutes for each of the techniques.
Then a devotee is adviced to meditate in the evening before going to bed.
Attend Satsangs
Another important principle on the spiritual path is attending live Satsangs on every possible occasion. Spending time with Self and God-Realized masters is extremely beneficial for a devotee as through the association one is being cleansed of all the impurities.
Paramahansa Yogivah Giri is helding live Satsangs three times a week online. It is advisable to attend all of them but if circumstances are not favorable, one should strive to take part in at least one live gathering a week. There's also an option to listen recorded Satsangs through popular podcast platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcast and etc.

Seva
The third sacred principle for a devotee is a devotional service to Gurudev. It is an ancient Indian tradition for devotees to support their spiritual preceptor in any possible way. The most convenient form of service in XXI century is monetary support, it should be offered on the first day of every month manually or automatically.

What is the correct attitude for a kriya yogi?
According to Paramahansa Yogivah Giri, the best motive to become a Yogi is not for living Yogi lifestyle but for accomplishing what Yogis accomplish.
"I don't want anything given to me, I want to accomplish what Yogis accomplish. I want to accomplish Yogā. Through your (Guru) instruction, you've told me that I can accomplish it. I understand I have the ability to accomplish this. Now that I've been initiated I know what Yoga is. Now let me practice Yogā. To accomplish Oneness with God. To no longer be concerned about the things of the senses."
"Even if you have a pretty body, a beautiful wife,
Great fame and mountain like money,
If your mind does not bow at the Guru’s feet,
What is the use? What is the use? And What is the use?"
