I found that the little reading that I did, provided some inspiration, but also facilitated wrong interpretation that gave birth to some erroneous spiritual ideas, concepts, fallacies, dogmas, and childish beliefs. These acquired beliefs of others, and those of my own caused further delay to the Self-revealed insight of direct soul intuition, and clarity of consciousness... (Liberation). The Avadhuta Gita was popular among the Mahatmas that I lived in the Himalayas as a boy, and the beautiful scripture was read occasionally very slowly a little at a time. There was one silent Mahatma that I would see frequently reading from an old worn book. One day I summoned the courage to ask him if I could look at it; without answering, he carefully handed the sacred scripture to me. I opened the worn pages to see revealed: Om Om Om written on every page... a strong current of bliss rose up my spine and my hair stood on end ...
