SOMETHING TRULY SPIRITUAL - THIS IS THE BHAGAVAD GITA

Do they come out with a new Bhagavad Gita every year like the come out with a new iphone? Are there any upgrades of the Bhagavad Gita? - It would be a ridiculous thought wouldn't it?

Well there are some things in the world that are Perfect. The Bhagavad Gita is Perfect. There is nothing in the Bhagavad Gita that you can upgrade. There is nothing in the Bhagavad Gita that is true now, but in another time won't be true. It's perfect as it is. It will never improve and it will never become less.

So you find that True Spiritual things are like that. Will you find that Bliss in a spiritual organization? You might have a very pleasant life in a spiritual organization.. you could live in a beautiful Ashram for the entirety of your life and it could be very pleasant because you're not engaged in the majority of the events of life that others are, for example.

When you live in an Ashram, you don't have to worry about your finances. You don't have to be concerned about your utilities. You don't have to be concerned about educating your children. You don't have to be concerned about your food. Your not concerned about all this things. You do the activities of the Ashram. Whatever activities are assigned to you, that's what you do. So you don't have the problems that people in the world would have. You have a different set of problems. You still have problems, every Ashram has problems but they're a different type of problems.

Well, what environment can I go to that is always perfect? Where there are no problems.. where it always was perfect and always will be perfect. I'm giving an example..Is it the book (The Bhagavad Gita)? Well this has a silver cover. This has hard binding, it's good quality. But someday..who knows where this is going to be one hundred years from now. The Bhagavad Gita is never going to disappear. That book might disappear.. but the Bhagavad Gita never will.

Those are the things that really satisfy you ~ the Spiritual things. So if you come to that Realization after many, many, many lifetimes.. which is usually what it takes.. before you start to understand that the world isn't giving me satisfaction. It gives me promises of satisfaction but never does.

And you start turning your radar towards spiritual subjects. And then you have to decipher..you have to attune yourself a little finer to see what spiritual subjects are good ones and which ones are bad ones. The same way about people. You want to be involved with people that are good for you. You don't want to be involved with people that are bad for you. The same with spiritual subjects. You don't want to waste your time with spiritual teachings that aren't Pure. In other words, that don't go directly to the point ~ Which is God Realization.

That's the spiritual teaching that you want to learn and then implement into your life.
