THIS WAS MY DAILY ROUTINE FOR CLOSE TO FIFTY YEARS <3
- When I lived in Haridwar as a boy I would meditate from midnight until 1 am. I would awaken at 2 am and meditate from 2:15 am to 5 am.
- I would bathe in the Ganges at 5 am.
- In the winter I would bathe in the Ganga at sunrise.
- Meditation again and Arti every morning and evening. I would also attend Satsang of the Perfect Masters and mahatmas. I would walk the Ganges from Haridwar towards Rishikesh each day. It was mostly jungle back then, not like today.
- Meditation again in the afternoon. Average daily meditation was 10 hours.
- I had one meal each day of rice and dal.
As adult and working for 12 hours 6 days each week with my own sattvic business I
- would meditate from 2:30 am to 5 am.
- would bathe at 5 am
- would work until 7 pm
- always attended Satsang at every opportunity. Several hundreds of Satsangs even on most workdays.
- had 2 small meals each day.
There were deviations from this routine a little when I would travel.
I always read the Gita, vedas, and upanishads daily. But when ever I would came across a different scripture I would read cover to cover in one day.
I have had some very difficult lessons but never have I had any misfortune in life.
Everyday I have always feed every creature that was hungry. I continue to do this everyday. Every creature but mostly the cows, horses, birds, dogs, cats, lizards and even bugs I have always fed. <3
