WHY IS SATSANG SO IMPORTANT? <3

Maya is very strong and confuses everyone's perception...Trying to explain or convey the Infinite Reality using words and symbols of the known in spiritual books would be akin to trying to see one's eye, smell one's nose or taste one's tongue...

In Living Satsang that one Reality with is shared. The words used in Satsang are not important. Being in the company of the guru who experiences Reality at all times is transformative to our consciousness.

It is as if everyone's eyes in this world are welded shut by that power of Maya but they think they are wise. It is a amazing power.

Satsang begins to open our inner eye of wisdom. All that is required is that we attend. That is all. The same as meditation all that is required is that you make the effort. You don't have to achieve anything remarkable.

Every enlightened person knows that there is nothing special about them. They are thankful to Divine Mother and guru for having their eye of wisdom opened through love.

By meditating everyday and attending Satsang we are showing our love by choosing to spend the limited hours that we have on this earth by choosing to spend that hour with guru in Satsang and God in meditation.

When we don't choose wisely God is indifferent to us and guru is saddened.

God does not need us and guru also does not need us. God is happy as he is. Every true guru would be perfectly happy being alone with God. They know that their life is short and will be spent in suffering for us. When their physical life is over they will spend eternity with the disciples that have chosen them.

Read the Autobiography of a Yogi again and see that this is how Babaji lives, Lahiri Mahasaya lives. Ramakrishna is also a perfect example of this true love between himself and his disciples.

For all of the perfect master gurus there are only a small number of devotees. This is also true of perfect master Paramhansa Yogananda. Avatars like Ramakrishna have more.

Not everyone who cries Lord, Lord is a real devotee. <3
